Van Gogh A5 Notebook

This Van Gogh A5 notebook features ‘Irises’ an exuberant bouquet of spring flowers which he painted during his stay in the Saint-Remy institute in 1890. The book has a textured paper finish, a printed vellum flysheet and is lined with extracts from a letter he wrote to his sister Willemien in the same year that he painted this portrait, 1890.
